Ant Williams is attempting to break the World Record for the DEEPEST ever freedive under ice.


North Pole Freedive Expedition

Ant Williams, from Melbourne Australia, will attempt to beat the Russian ice diving champion Konstantin Novikov who claimed the World Record in 2015 with an incredible ice dive to -65m on a single breath of air.

Over the next 18 months the path to the North Pole for Ant and his small crew will include the following major milestones:

  • Depth tolerance training in the Mentawai Islands, Indonesia - July 2016

  • Expedition survival training for the crew in Revel Stoke, Canada

  • Norway ice dive training event with the Finnish freediving champion

  • North Pole expedition camp and World Record attempt
